Chris ware’s comic is about a boy dreaming about the future and some day being a pilot and getting married to his landlords daughter, when suddenly his brother wakes him up by letting him know that his mother is going to kill him if he is late again. Chris Ware plays around with the space in this comic. He has an actual enlarged image of the setting and around that main point he draws smaller boxes and bubbles being followed by arrows directing your eye through the page. This technique allows the reader to understand what it happening in a playful ways. Some of the bubbles and boxes are as simple as a close up to show the expression on a characters face or to show time from one bubble to another one. The technique that I most enjoy from him is how everything is so easy to understand. The way he uses the background as a main started and from that he takes out smaller details and enlarges them.
